They settled on the name of Jack’s Wife Freda – invoking the memories of being welcomed home again by loved ones and that is the philosophy they run their restaurants with. Employees are eligible Short version: Jack's Wife Freda is 90% ambiance and 10% food and I just don't think the ambiance does enough to justify relatively high prices for small portions at the end of the day. This review is for the Chelsea location specifically, but I would say the same for all of them.

Jack's Wife Freda is a great Mediterranean twist on American brunch. The dishes are unique and certain to please. Would have liked the portions to be a little bigger especially considering the prices. Anything with the haloumi or duck bacon/prosciutto is a must-have. Also, great vibes. Very cozy and social.
