I've considered this option as well. Pinnacle feels more like Shock, and I enjoy the switching gameplay, but I really don't like the Red skills, the Blue ones are really fun to use. I know Trixion isn't the best to judge DPS but my Scrapper feels really weak, I'm currently doing about 3.2m per second but for how geared I am it seems low.
