I have been to both Castle Rock and Monument Rocks and would highly recommend either or both if you have the time. I visited them on separate driving-west trips with two different teenagers. Each teen was 'wowed'. Saw Kansas perform at San Diego Gaslamp District Balboa Theatre, which is a very intimate place to see a show. The Band was nearly flawless in the performance and really rocked the crowd with the best of their music. The show was two hours long and sounded terrific throughout.
