Aug 19, 2020 · There are hiking trails surrounded the lake, should you feel the urge to plod around the mountain on a nice summers day. This is a dog friendly place! Yup! Being your pups! They are even allowed in the lake. My dogs particularly like swimming here. It's a nice break when it's 100 in El Paso, because the weather here is also 15-20 degrees cooler.
